This recipe is for stuffing of one turkey

Turkey stuffing

Ingredients
 
3 each medium onion, chopped
4 each celery stick, chopped
3 Tbsp oil
 
6 cup seasoned stuffing (croutons)
2 Tbsp chicken soup powder (optional)
cup hot water
 


Preparation steps:
  1. Saute the onion with 2 Tbsp oil in a non-stick pan until dark brown. Transfer to a large bowl that can be used in a microwave.
  2. Saute the celery with 1 Tbsp oil in the non-stick pan until golden. Transfer to the large bowl.
  3. Add the stuffing and water. If the mix needs more seasoning add the soup powder.
  4. Before stuffing the turkey, microwave the mix for 2 minutes on high heat.
  5. Stuff the turkey.

Take note!
  • The onion and celery can be sautéed a day ahead,
    and kept refrigerated until the mix is being made.
  • Stuffing - ready made seasoned bread croutons.
  • Stuffing brands:
    Oroweat stuffing - about 8 cups (weight 12 oz.),
    Pepperidge Farm Stuffing - about 6 cups.
