My name is Maya Raber. I'm an Israeli American living in the Boston area,
a high-tech professional by day and a home chef by night.
I enjoy developing recipes that are clear, reliable, and of course... delicious.
I'm passionate about discovering flavors from around the world and mastering the ingredients and techniques behind the dishes I love to cook and bake.
This cookbook is a true labor of love. Creating the website has been a joy,
almost as much fun as the cooking itself.
My favorite way to learn how to cook is from people: family and friends who have perfected a dish, chefs I meet while traveling, and often from my own trial and error, experimenting until the flavors come together perfectly.
I'm deeply grateful to everyone who has shared their special recipes with me over
the years, especially my mother, sister, extended family, and so many dear friends.
